Founded by legendary golf instructor David Leadbetter nearly 40 years ago, the Leadbetter name has been synonymous with world-class golf instruction around the globe. With 33 locations in 16 countries, our golf academies are the global authority on all forms of golf instruction, delivering world-class coaching to all levels of golfers from Tour players to amateurs, juniors and complete novices.
In 2018 a new era began to raise the standard for the future of golf instruction when Leadbetter strategically merged with Korean golf technology giant Golfzon Newdin Holdings. Together, Leadbetter and Golfzon are continuing to push the boundaries and possibilities of golf instruction, with the goal of making it simpler and more accessible for all golfers to improve and enjoy the sport at every level.

About David Leadbetter
David Leadbetter is regarded by many as the world’s premier golf instructor, 2017 PGA Teacher of the Year, PGA Hall of Fame Professional and a regular contributor to the Golf Channel. His clientele includes 26 major champions; seven world number ones and many more of the world’s very best and most famous golfers. He is also the author of seven golf instruction books, including recent best seller, The A Swing, making him the world’s top author of golf instruction books with more than 2.5m copies sold. David continues to mentor and teach many Tour players including Patrick Reed, Rafa Cabrera-Bello, Charl Schwartzel, Michelle Wie, Maria Fassi, Caroline Masson and Jodi Ewart-Shadoff.
